AKIALOA

Tropical Bird series, a Hawaiian green and yellow bird with a long curved beak.
Mahieu Diploid 97-272 N
[GREEN TARANTULA X WILSON SPIDER]
48 M RE 8  DOR,  4 way branching 36 buds, 3 way Crispate UNUSUAL FORM, fertile both ways
This plant is a stunning garden subject with beautiful blue-green foliage.  The huge, creamy lemon-chartreuse blooms have a suede substance and glitter with diamond dusting.  AKIALOA displays pinching quilling and twisting, and the petals are Spatulate in shape.  The sepals quill and hook or spoon at the ends.  The chartreuse green throat radiates far out onto the segments, giving a very cooling effect to the blooms.
