| PACK HUNTER
Mahieu Diploid 98-470 F When viewed in a clump these blooms do give a threatening appearance with the pinched and hooked sepals. PACK HUNTER is a crimson-violet self with a bluish sheen, lemon chartreuse throat. Interesting breeding involving Stout's altissima-based CHALLENGER and Lonnie Ward's BLOODSTREAM with a Lambert thrown in! Fertile both ways --great breeding potential or show plant, valuable in the late summer garden. Full sibling to ROYAL FLYCATCHER. (Mahieu '03). Pack Hunter and Royal Flycatcher produce very tall progeny, up to 7 feet. see below: |
